Care for your Treasures

All items are more than objects—they carry a soul and deserve to be cared for. Here are some tips to help your treasure live a long and honorable life.

Tip 1

Washing and Airing

The care needed may vary depending on the materials used. We generally recommend handwashing all items to preserve their quality and shape.

A simple way, instead of washing, to keep your treasure fresh is to hang it outside or near an open window to air out. You can also use a linen spray to gently refresh the fabric between wears.

All materials used by LRS are primarily preloved textiles and are therefore more delicate than new fabrics. Extra care and caution are required to preserve their quality.

Tip 2

Putting on and off

Take your time when putting on and removing your treasure. Corsets in particular require patience to lace and adjust properly—rushing can strain both the fabric and the seams. The more care you give in these moments, the longer your piece will last.

To put on a lace-up corset, start by loosening the laces fully. Wrap the corset around your waist and then gently tighten the laces from top and bottom toward the center, pulling evenly on both sides. You can put in front first and then turn it to the back. Tie a secure bow at the back once it feels comfortably fitted—never overtighten.

Tip 3

Styling

Style your treasure as an extension of what you already wear. Each piece is designed to layer effortlessly with your existing wardrobe—adding texture, shape, and character without replacing your personal style.

Our accessories and garments are made to complement, not compete. Wear them over, under, or alongside your favorite pieces to create something that feels entirely your own.

Tip 4

Tell The Story

Every Treasure has a story to tell that you tell by wearing it. Share your story on social media! Give it new memorys and moments to tell.
